Announcing the 40 Climate Leaders of Balochistan!

🚨 Big News! We’re thrilled to unveil the 40 Youth Climate Leaders selected for BYAC’s “Building Climate Leaders” Summit — coming this May 2025 at BUITEMS, Quetta. 🌍🔥

Balochistan is at the front and center of climate change, from flash floods to long draughts, we see it every year. It’s certainly a global problem and needs a collective effort from each one of us to solve; but, the onus of adapting to these impacts of climate change comes on us. The idea of this climate summit is to bring 40 young indigenous youth from across Balochistan to come together for two days to understand, brainstorm and discuss what climate adaptation for Balochistan should look like.

At the end of the summit, we will come up with policy proposals that will be shared with the provincial government on what and how the young people in Balochistan desire to work towards climate action.

Think. Lead. Climate Action!

🌱 Who Are the Climate Leaders?

These 40 individuals represent a powerful cross-section of Balochistan’s youth: university students, community activists, grassroots organizers, and researchers. Many of them are already driving local change.
