Pakistan is the 8th most vulnerable country to climate change and Balochistan province in particular is among the worst hit. Young people can play a strong part in both mitigations as well adaptation to climate change. BYAC works on the grassroots to raise awareness of climate change and its impacts to the province, in addition to developing adaptation and mitigation strategies to help communities cope with the effects of climate change.
Awareness & Mitigation: BYAC raises awareness of climate change through educational programs, public events, and social media campaigns.
Adaptation: BYAC develops adaptation strategies to help communities cope with the effects of climate change. These strategies include planting trees, climate resilient housing among others. BYAC is working to make a difference in the fight against climate change.
The organization’s work is helping to raise awareness of the issue, develop adaptation strategies, and mitigate the effects of climate change. You can volunteer with BYAC on the ground or provide your expertise.
