What Is the Building Climate Leaders Summit?
The Climate Summit, “Building Climate Leaders” by BYAC Balochistan, is a two-day gathering of 43 passionate young volunteers from across the province. These participants are united by a shared commitment to tackling climate adaptation challenges in Balochistan.
The summit is designed to empower youth as leaders in climate resilience, while fostering collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Through interactive workshops, collaborative design sessions, and virtual dialogues with global experts, participants will:
- Deepen their understanding of Balochistan’s unique climate vulnerabilities and environmental stressors.
- Co-develop a youth-driven framework for local climate adaptation and engagement.
- Build skills in storytelling, advocacy, and resource mobilization to drive change in their communities.
The summit features insights from the Mira Fellowship and the Global Shapers Community, bringing international perspectives to support local action. By the end of the summit, participants will leave with:
